Check valve

Check valve

Application
A check valve is a type of valve that prevents backflow, ensuring unidirectional fluid flow.
It can be used to protect against liquid back-suction losses and to prevent water hammer in pipelines.
It is used in the food processing, beverage, brewing, oil refining, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.
Operating Principle
The valve opens when the fluid pressure exceeds the spring’s suction pressure. When the two pressures are equal, the valve closes. A larger pressure differential can also cause the valve to close.
